Connecting with us and with God
Baptism
Jesus invites us to share connection through baptism. (see Matthew 28). This is how Christian communities have been formed and grown over the past 2000 years.
Baptism is available to people of any age. When a child is baptised the parents and godparents promise to bring the child up in the Christian faith, to help that child explore a relationship with God, and come to know, love and trust God for themselves.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you. Contact our parish office to connect, or come along to a service.
Confirmation
We all need to take responsibility for our lives and connections. For those who are baptised as children, the journey continues through being welcomed to share in Holy Communion (from about 9 years old) and affirming and owning the promises made on their behalf though Confirmation, an adult step of commitment, offered from 15 years old.
Often parents bringing children for baptism are moved to consider their own relationship with God and to explore their own faith journey. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on your life and an opportunity for you and your child can form a deeper relationship. Discuss this with the member of our community who meets with you to prepare for your child’s baptism.
Many adults have not been baptised or had the opportunity to make this commitment and response to God at a younger age.
When an adult is moved to pursue and explore this connection with God they are prepared for baptism (if they have not yet been baptised) and confirmation – which are celebrated together.

The best way to begin is by coming to join us in worship. Ask questions. Bring who you are to meet God here.
Marriage
Making a lifelong commitment to another person is one of the most significant steps we take in our lives. Being able to make that commitment before God brings our lives into a greater embrace of love and connection with the human heart’s experience across millennia. We are here to share this journey with you.
To inquire about celebrating your wedding at one of our centres, or to connect with one of our clergy, contact us through the forms on this site.
For those who are already married and who would like to deepen their relationship, we are preparing to offer a Marriage Course. Please see the events page for the next time when this course will be run, and contact our Parish Office to register your interest.
