St Luke's Parish Hall
Historic and heritage listed, St Luke’s Hall is over 100 years old. It has been the venue for countless parties, celebrations, meetings, markets, rehearsals and gatherings of almost every imaginable type.
The hall needs some maintenance and TLC to enable its continued use. We are doing what we can, seeking support from the community and pursuing grants where possible. We want to see this community hall in use for many years to come.
In 2018 we developed a three-year plan to guide our church community. We looked at ourselves, our life and our ministry through six ‘windows’:
- Being an open and Welcoming Community;
- Financial Sustainability, Stewardship and Property;
- Mission and Outreach;
- Pastoral Care, Small Groups and Education;
- Worship and Spiritual Life;
- Youth, Children and Families.
As this has been lived and explored we continue to discover the ways in which God continues to open up new opportunities, even as some of where we thought we were going has changed!
In 2020 we will be looking forward to the next three years, reflecting on all that we have shared, and discerning how we believe God is calling us to live, grounded and faithful in our Christian community.
