Sacraments
Welcome to our Anglican community, where we celebrate life's most significant moments through the sacred sacraments. These sacraments are not just ceremonies, but profound expressions of faith, love, and hope. We invite you to join us in these holy rites, where we come together to bless new beginnings, unite in love, and honor the lives of those who have passed. Whether you are seeking to baptize a child, celebrate a wedding, or commemorate a loved one, our doors are open to you with warmth and grace. Come, be a part of our spiritual family, and experience the deep connection and peace that our sacraments bring.
Baptism
We love baptisms! When we come for Baptism we are saying “yes” to God’s love and desire for us to belong to the community of God’s people. To seek Baptism for a child is to say that you want to give them the gift of being part of God’s family and to have God involved in their life.
There is no fee for a baptism conducted during a service. It is a privilege and a pleasure for us to be able to offer this sacrament. If you wish, however, to make a donation, you may put it in the offering plate or give it to the priest who takes your baptism service.
Please contact our parish office for information on making a booking for a Baptism.
Weddings
Marriage is viewed as a sacrament, a holy and sacred covenant between two persons. It is a reflection of God's love for His people and is regarded as a divine institution. Weddings are conducted within the framework of this sacramental understanding, emphasising the spiritual significance of the union.
The minister officiates the service, leads the couple in their vows, and invokes God's blessings upon the marriage. The clergy's presence underscores the solemnity and spiritual dimension of the event. The couple makes solemn vows to love, honour, and cherish each other for better or worse, in sickness and in health, until death do they part. These vows are a declaration of their commitment and signify the unbreakable bond they are forming. After the vows and the exchange of rings, the priest offers a blessing for the couple's marriage. This blessing invokes God's grace and guidance on their journey together.

Funerals
The funeral service follows a structured liturgy. It includes prayers, Scripture readings, hymns, and a sermon. This liturgy guides the participants through the grieving process and offers words of comfort and hope. The minister officiates at the funeral service. They lead the congregation in prayer, deliver a sermon or reflection, and offer pastoral support to the bereaved. The presence of clergy underscores the spiritual significance of the event.
Funerals allow family and friends to remember and celebrate the life of the deceased. Eulogies or tributes may be given to share memories and anecdotes that reflect the person's character and contributions. A significant portion of the Anglican funeral liturgy is the commendation, where the deceased person's soul is commended to God's loving care. It is a moment of final farewell and entrusting the departed into God's eternal presence.
